Whys He Wearing Pyjamas?

Description: Bradford born Fabian Delph and Scottish International Ross McCormack look a little surprised here as a sleep walking man appears on the pitch just before they're about to kick-off the days game. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena on the 14th February, 2012. Both Ross and Fabian started the game for Leeds. McCormack was replaced on 83 minutes by Ramon Nunez and scored a Leeds a goal while Fabian went off injured on 62 minutes and was replaced by Michael Brown.

Manager Simon Grayson signed Scotland International Ross McCormack from Cardiff City on the 27th August, 2010 for an undisclosed fee. Ross made his debut for the Whites just a day later coming on as substitute in the 70th minute in the 1-0 away win at Watford. United's manager Grayson was delight with the capture of Ross saying: "Ross is a player of good quality.... He's proved in the Championship he can score goals and hopefully he will continue that with us."

Fabian Delph initially joined Leeds in 2006, joining the Leeds Academy as a 16 year old schoolboy on a two year scholarship. After a good showing Delph was soon promoted to the captaincy of the Leeds reserve team in 2007 and gained his first full appearance for Leeds coming on as substitute in the last game of the 2006-07 season against Derby County. Delph went on and made a further two first team appearances in the 2007-08 season both as substitute. Having impressed in United's pre-season Delph became a regular in the first team for 2007-08 and soon caught the eye of Premier League Clubs but Delph remained with Leeds putting in some stunning performances. 2008-09 and Delph's form continued to get better and as a result he won the young player of the year award, the young player of the season award and the goal of the season for his goal against Brighton but with Leeds losing out in the Play Off's it was only a matter of time before the Premier Clubs came knocking again. Delph was eventually sold to Aston Villa for 8M. On the 20th January, 2012 Delph re-signed for Leeds initially on a months long loan but picked up an ankle injury in the game against Coventry. The player returned to his parent club Aston Villa for treatment and didn't return as the injury put him out for the rest of the season.

Leeds United: Lonergan, Smith, Lees, O'Dea, Pugh, Snodgrass, Delph, Clayton, White, McCormack, Becchio.
