What Was Webb Thinking

Description: Ross McCormack United's Scottish Striker here pictured after he had just been brought down in the box by the opposition's Defender. The referee David Webb failed to acknowledge the foul which manager Simon Grayson described after the game as a Stonewall Penalty. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Portsmouth at Elland Road on the 28th December, 2010. Andy played the full ninety minutes for Leeds in the game against the Hampshire outfit.

Manager Simon Grayson signed Scotland International Ross McCormack on the 27th August, 2010 for an undisclosed fee. Ross made his debut for the Whites just a day later coming on as substitute in the 70th minute in the 1-0 away win at Watford. United's manager Grayson was delight with the capture of Ross saying: "Ross is a player of good quality.... He's proved in the Championship he can score goals and hopefully he will continue that with us."

Leeds United: Schmeichel, Connolly, O'Brien, Collins, McCartney, Snodgrass, Johnson, Howson, Gradel (Sam 81), Paynter (Becchio 65), McCormack.
Subs: Becchio for Paynter, Sam for Gradel.
