Description:
Luciano Becchio United's Argentine Striker complete with a bandage on his head, here in front of the Wedlock Stand at Ashton Gate in anticipation of a Leeds United corner. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Bristol City at Ashton Gate on the 12th February, 2011. Luciano started the game for Leeds but was replaced on 86 minutes by Ross McCormack.
The Argentinian Becchio was signed by Gary McAllister on the 31st July, 2008 for three years. He impressed the manager with his performances during the 2007-08 pre-season friendlies while on loan from Spanish outfit Merida Union Deportiva. With some stellar performances for Leeds since his arrival he has made the number 10 shirt his own and become a fans favourite.
