Description: Andrew O'Brien here United's English Defender caught on the Elland Road pitch during a break in play. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Ipswich Town at Elland Road on the 12th March, 2011. O'Brien played the full ninety minutes for Leeds in the game against the Tractor Boys.

Manager Simon Grayson initially brought Andrew O'Brien in on a months loan from Bolton Wanderers on the 29th October, 2010. The move to Elland Road was the second time around for O'Brien, he started his footballing career at Leeds Utd and was released 17 years previous as a 14 year old to Bradford City. After impressing the manager with his performances the loan period was extended on the 24th November, 2010 to reach to 4th January, 2011 during which time O'Brien expressed desires to make his loan period made permanent. By the 30th December, 2010 manager Grayson confirmed he wanted the player permanently and on the 1st January, 2011 O'Brien signed a permanent two and a half year contract turning down a lucrative offer from Cardiff City into the bargain.
