The Lloyd Limbo

The Lloyd Limbo

Description: A shot here of the Leeds born Midfielder Lloyd Sam for United caught during an unusual move on the Elland Road pitch. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game at Elland Road against Middlesbrough on the 1st January, 2011. Lloyd replaced Max Gradel in the game against the North East outfit on 56 minutes.

Leeds born Lloyd Sam was signed by manager Simon Grayson on the 9th July, 2010. Sam who was out of contract with his former club Charlton Athletic had no hesitation when United's manager made the offer. Lloyd signed for the Whites in a two year deal which will keep him at his home town club till 2012.
"I was looking at a few Championship options, and started talking with Leeds... "I spoke to Frazer Richardson as well and he said that he never wanted to leave Leeds, and said a lot of good things about the club... "I'm buzzing and I'm looking forward to getting started and getting to know the lads."

Leeds United: Schmeichel, Connolly, O'Brien, Collins, Hughes, Johnson, Howson, Snodgrass, McCormack, Gradel, Becchio.
Subs: Kilkenny for Hughes, Sam for Gradel, Watt for Snodgrass.
