Description:
Kasper Schmeichel keeps a watchful eye on proceedings here on the Vicarage Road pitch. The shot coming from United's game against Watford on the 28th August, 2010. Kasper played the full ninety minutes in the game against the Hornets.
Kasper Schmeichel was manager Simon Grayson's first signing of the Summer of 2010 after United were promoted to the Championship. Leeds' manager Grayson beat off a host of other clubs to the Danish keeper's signature after he had kept 24 clean sheets for his former club Notts County and won the PFA League Two Player of the Year in the bargain. Schmeichel joined Leeds on a free transfer on the 1st July, 2010 in a contract that will last two years. He was handed the number One shirt for the 2010-11 season opener just edging out Shane Higgs who showed some good form in United's pre-season campaign. Leeds United: Schmeichel, Connolly, Naylor, Collins, Bessone, Sam, Howson, Kilkenny, Johnson, Becchio, Watt. Subs: Hughes for Bessone, Gradel for Sam, McCormack for Watt. Thanks to Harvey for this great pic. Submitted: 09/13/10 Views: 117 Tags: Rate this image:
