Robert Snodgrass United's Scottish International caught here in this superb shot just after he struck the ball which ultimately landed in the net and delivered the three points for Super Leeds. The strike came in the 76th minute during the Football League First Division game against Southampton at Elland Road on the 19th December, 2009. Snoddy played the full ninety minutes in the game against the Saints.
Gary McAllister beat a host of other clubs when he signed the highly rated Robert Snodgrass in late July, 2008 from Scottish outfit Livingston on a three year contract. After some excellent match winning performances 'Snoddy' soon established himself as one of Grayson's automatic choices for his first eleven and with two years left on his current contract he was offered a new four year deal with United at the beginning of the 2009-10 season. The Members Club Player of the Year for 2008-09 was delighted with the offer. "It`s been great since I came down here last summer and I really love the club.
