Robert Snodgrass United's Scottish International Striker here about to take a corner in front of the North Stand where the United fans were housed at the Falkirk Stadium. The shot coming from the pre-season game against Falkirk at the Falkirk Stadium on the 13th July, 2011. Snodgrass started the game for Leeds and scored United's second goal but was replaced on 63 minutes by Nathan Turner.
Gary McAllister beat a host of other clubs when he signed the highly rated Robert Snodgrass in late July, 2008 from Scottish outfit Livingston on a three year contract. After some excellent match winning performances 'Snoddy' soon established himself as one of Grayson's automatic choices for his first eleven and with two years left on his current contract he was offered a new four year deal with United at the beginning of the 2009-10 season. The Members Club Player of the Year for 2008-09 was delighted with the offer. "It`s been great since I came down here last summer and I really love the club.
