Description: Robert Snodgrass and Ross McCormack here United's Scottish Internationals deliberate who will take this free kick for Leeds in front of the South Stand at Elland Road. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Reading at Elland Road on the 17th December, 2011. Both Snoddy and Ross started the game for Leeds. Gary McAllister beat a host of other clubs when he signed the highly rated Robert Snodgrass in late July, 2008 from Scottish outfit Livingston on a three year contract. After some excellent match winning performances 'Snoddy' soon established himself as one of Grayson's automatic choices for his first eleven and with two years left on his current contract he was offered a new four year deal with United at the beginning of the 2009-10 season. The Members Club Player of the Year for 2008-09 was delighted with the offer. "It`s been great since I came down here last summer and I really love the club. From the fans to the back-room staff and the other players..."

Manager Simon Grayson signed Scotland International Ross McCormack from Cardiff City on the 27th August, 2010 for an undisclosed fee. Ross made his debut for the Whites just a day later coming on as substitute in the 70th minute in the 1-0 away win at Watford. United's manager Grayson was delight with the capture of Ross saying: "Ross is a player of good quality.... He's proved in the Championship he can score goals and hopefully he will continue that with us."
