Description:
Sam Byram United's Midfielder here on the Etihad Stadium pitch forcing the opposition to slide the ball out for a Leeds United corner. The shot coming from the Football Association Cup 5th Round at the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City on the 17th February, 2013. Sam played the full game for Leeds against the Citizens.
Samuel Byram was promoted from United's Youth Academy in 2012 and featured in the Whites' 2012-13 pre-season campaign which saw him score for Leeds in the 3-1 win against Preston North End. The young Midfielder from Leamington Spa made his first team debut in the Football League Cup game against Shrewsbury Town on the 11th August, 2012 and his league debut came just a week later in the home win against Wolverhampton Wanderers. On the 20th August, 2012 'Sam' signed a three year contract for the Whites. Leeds United: Ashdown, Byram, Peltier, Lees, Warnock, White, Brown, Austin, Varney, Diouf, McCormack.
