Ross So Close

Ross So Close

Description: A great shot here of a Ross McCormack free-kick taken at the London Road Terrace Stand end. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Peterborough United at London Road Stadium on the 25th August, 2012. Ross started the game for Leeds but was replaced on 79 minutes by Dominic Poleon.

Manager Simon Grayson signed Scotland International Ross McCormack from Cardiff City on the 27th August, 2010 for an undisclosed fee. Ross made his debut for the Whites just a day later coming on as substitute in the 70th minute in the 1-0 away win at Watford. United's manager Grayson was delight with the capture of Ross saying: "Ross is a player of good quality.... He's proved in the Championship he can score goals and hopefully he will continue that with us."

Leeds United: Kenny, Peltier. Lees, Pearce, Drury, Diouf, Austin, Norris, Varney, McCormack, Becchio.
Subs: Byram for Diouf, Poleon for McCormack, Gray for Becchio.

Thanks To: Eric of the West Midland Whites for this great pic.
