Description:
Robert Snodgrass here the United striker runs at the Huddersfield defence with the ball stuck to his feet. Robert got the first goal for Leeds in this West Yorkshire derby after just two minutes. Gary McAllister beat a host of other clubs when he signed the highly rated Robert Snodgrass in late July, 2008 from Scottish outfit Livingston on a three year contract. After some excellent match winning performances 'Snoddy' soon established himself as one of Grayson's automatic choices for his first eleven and with two years left on his current contract he was offered a new four year deal with United at the beginning of the 2009-10 season. The Members Club Player of the Year for 2008-09 was delighted with the offer. "It`s been great since I came down here last summer and I really love the club. From the fans to the back-room staff and the other players..." Match report to follow. Leeds United: Ankergren, Crowe, Michalik, Bromby, Capaldi, Doyle, Kilkenny, Howson, Beckford, Vokes, Snodgrass. Subs: Gradel for Kilkenny, Becchio for Vokes, Ephraim for Snodgrass. Thanks to Colin callow for this great pic. Submitted: 12/08/09 (Edited 12/24/09) Views: 116 Tags: Rate this image:
