In December 2006 the new manager Dennis Wise extended Parker's loan period with the goal of the player gaining more experience. Wise offered Ben a new contract for Leeds on May 18th, 2007 which was signed on the 7th August, 2007. Parker finally made his full debut for Leeds in a Football League Cup win over Macclesfield on the 14th August, 2007. Just four days later he made his League debut as substitute in a 4-1 win against Southend United. Parker made 15 appearances for Leeds in the season of 2007-08 before he was loaned out again to Darlington but returned to Elland Road for the season of 2008-09. Strong performances from Ben in his Left Back position for the 2008-09 season instilled new confidence in the manager Simon Grayson and on the 8th July, 2009 he signed an extension to his contract which will see him at Elland Road until the end of the 2011/12 season. Ben Parker also won an award at Leeds United's player of the year for the season 2009-10. A Special Chairman's Award was given to Parker by Ken Bates after injury ruined his season.

Simon Grayson signed Sanchez Watt on a season long loan at the start of the 2010-11 season after the Arsenal youngster impressed in his loan spell that lasted six games towards the end of United's promotion winning season of 2009-10.

The United manager Simon Grayson signed Billy Paynter on the 2nd June, 2010 for three years on a Bosman free transfer. The player coming from Swindon Town was given the coveted number nine shirt for United taking over from former Striker Jermaine Beckford. Paynter picked up an injury in United's pre-season campaign which ruled him out for the rest of the campaign and for the first three months of the 2010-11 season. On 30th October, 2010 Paynter was back from injury making his debut appearance for the Leeds first team in the Football League Championship away game against Scunthorpe United.
