Naylor Strides

Naylor Strides

Description: Richard Naylor the Leeds born central defender for United is caught here taking a stretch up the touch-line at the Community Stadium before the game with Colchester United. Richard Naylor a massive Leeds fan who has the White Rose tattoo on his arm and sings Marching On Together in the shower after training was brought in from Ipswich on loan by Simon Grayson on 14th January, 2009. The move was soon made permanent when he signed on a free on 2nd February, 2009.
Back to the game and United were playing Colchester United in a First Division clash on April 4th, 2009. Grayson's men were attempting to make it their fifth straight league win on the bounce and stretch their unbeaten run to nine games. United didn't disappoint their manager or the travelling White Army as they won the game 1-0 thanks to a 29th minute effort from Luciano Becchio. 9,559 turned up at the Weston Homes for this encounter with a large contingent following the men in yellow.

Leeds United: Ankergren, Douglas, Naylor, Sodje, Parker, Snodgrass, Howson, Kilkenny, Delph, Becchio, Beckford.
Subs: Robinson for Kilkenny, Hughes for Snodgrass, Dickinson for Becchio.

Thanks to Colin Callow for this great pic.
