Description:
Lubomir Michalik waits for a corner here in the FA Cup 2nd Round game against Histon at the Glassworld Stadium on November 30th, 2008. Fabian Delph, Alan Sheehan and Jonathan Douglas also in the picture. It was a bad day for Gary McAllister's men as Histon made history by beating United 1-0, this was the first time in Leeds' history that a non-league outfit had beaten United. Leeds dominated most of the play but the conditions were tailor made for a big cup upset, nothing went right for United with Luciano Becchio going close several times and Michalik hitting the post. It wasn't to be and United went out of the FA Cup with a lot of fans now questioning whether Macca was the man for the job.
