Description:
Luciano Becchio United's Argentine Striker on the Elland Road pitch here waiting for a Scmeichel goal kick. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Ipswich Town at Elland Road on the 12th March, 2011. Becchio replaced Billy Paynter in the game against the Tractor Boys on 79 minutes.
The Argentinian Becchio was signed by Gary McAllister on the 31st July, 2008 for three years. He impressed the manager with his performances during the 2007-08 pre-season friendlies while on loan from Spanish outfit Merida Union Deportiva. With some stellar performances for Leeds since his arrival he has made the number 10 shirt his own and become a fans favourite.
