Description: Andrew Lonergan here United's English born Goalkeeper caught during Leeds' pre-match training schedule on the Fratton Park pitch. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game at Fratton Park against Portsmouth on the 25th February, 2012. Andrew played the full game and kept a clean sheet in the match against Pompey.

The United manager Simon Grayson signed Andrew Lonergan on the 25th July, 2011 for three years. Andrew coming from Preston North End cost United 200k and he was given the number one shirt. He made his debut for Leeds in the opening game of the 2011-12 season at St Mary's Stadium in the match against Southampton. After the signing Grayson commented: "....Andy was always my number one choice, and I'm delighted we could bring him here....He's played many games in the Championship and has been linked with many moves to the Premier League which speaks volumes about him."

Leeds United: Lonergan, Bruce, Lees, O'Dea, Pugh, Snodgrass, Brown, Clayton, White, McCormack, Becchio.
