Dom And Ross

Description: Dominic Poleon the scorer of United's first goal here celebrates with Ross McCormack, in front of the Leeds fans, after the Scottish Forward scored United's second of the game. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Watford at Vicarage Road on the 4th May, 2013. The last game of the 2012-13 season. Poleon replaced the injured Steve Morison in the game after 10 minutes and scored the first for Leeds, while McCormack played the full game and scored the second against the Hornets.

Manager Simon Grayson signed Scotland International Ross McCormack from Cardiff City on the 27th August, 2010 for an undisclosed fee. Ross made his debut for the Whites just a day later coming on as substitute in the 70th minute in the 1-0 away win at Watford. United's manager Grayson was delight with the capture of Ross saying: "Ross is a player of good quality.... He's proved in the Championship he can score goals and hopefully he will continue that with us."

Manager Simon Grayson signed the youngster Dominic Poleon in the Summer of 2010 from Southend United. After a successful period in the reserves and youth team, Dominic was leading goalscorer for the youth team in 2011-12 with 12 goals, he earned himself a one year professional contract. Dominic featured in all but one of United's 2012-13 pre-season friendlies and scored his first senior goal for The Whites against Tavistock. After a good showing with the first team during the pre-season campaign it was manager Neil Warnock who gave the player his full first team debut. Coming on as substitute in the Football League Cup First Round game against Shrewsbury Town at Elland Road on the 11th August, 2012. Poleon made his first start for Leeds in the Championship game against Nottingham Forest at Elland Road on the 22nd September, 2012. Dominic scored on his debut.

Leeds United: Kenny, Peltier, Lees, Pearce, Drury, Tonge, Brown, Green, McCormack, Morison, Varney.
Subs: Poleon/Morison, White/Brown, Hall/Green.
