Description:
Alex Bruce the United Defender caught here after he just challenged for a high ball in the Leeds area. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Bristol City at Elland Road on the 13th November, 2010. Alex played the full ninety minutes for Leeds in the game against the South West outfit.
After being a long time target for Simon Grayson the United manager finally signed Alex Bruce from Ipswich Town for an undisclosed fee on the 30th July, 2010 on a two year deal, with the option for a further year. Alex's impressive debut came in the Championship game against Doncaster Rovers on the 17th September, 2010 in the season 2010-11. Manager Grayson.... "Alex is going to be a good member of the squad. He can play at centre-back, right-back, and as a holding midfielder... We felt we were short in those areas at this moment and we're delighted he's come... He's got a lot of experience, he's played in the Championship and the Premiership and he's what we want - a player who knows the division, is hungry and wants to be successful." Leeds United: Schmeichel, Connolly, Bruce, O'Brien, McCartney, Kilkenny, Howson, Johnson, Snodgrass, Somma, Gradel. Subs: Becchio for Somma, Sam for Gradel, Paynter for Howson. Thanks to Mamf for this great pic. Submitted: 02/19/11 Views: 139 Tags: Rate this image:
