Description: Michael Brown United's Defender aggravating the Leicester players here while they try to set up for this free-kick, meanwhile Luciano Becchio directs the position of United's Number One. Robert Snodgrass and Danny Pugh make up the wall. The shot coming from the last Football League Championship game of the 2011-12 season against Leicester City at Elland Road on the 28th April, 2012. Brown, Snodgrass and Pugh played the full game against the East Midlands outfit while Becchio started but was replaced on 76 minutes by Mikael Forssell.

Manager Simon Grayson signed Michael Brown from Portsmouth on the 11th July, 2011. Brown signed on a free transfer for a year with an option of extending the period a further year. Wearing the number eight shirt Brown made his debut for Leeds in the opening match of the 2011-12 season in the game against Southampton at St Marys Stadium. United manager Simon Grayson said: "We're delighted to finalise things with Michael. He is a player that I have long been interested in and I'm glad we've been able to sort things out for him to come here....He has experience and know-how, and he has played at the highest level. He fits the bill in terms of the quality of player I was looking to bring in and he will be a great addition to the squad.

The Argentinian Becchio was signed by Gary McAllister on the 31st July, 2008 for three years. He impressed the manager with his performances during the 2007-08 pre-season friendlies while on loan from Spanish outfit Merida Union Deportiva. With some stellar performances for Leeds since his arrival he has made the number 10 shirt his own and become a fans favourite.

Gary McAllister beat a host of other clubs when he signed the highly rated Robert Snodgrass in late July, 2008 from Scottish outfit Livingston on a three year contract. After some excellent match winning performances 'Snoddy' soon established himself as one of Grayson's automatic choices for his first eleven and with two years left on his current contract he was offered a new four year deal with United at the beginning of the 2009-10 season. The Members Club Player of the Year for 2008-09 was delighted with the offer. "It`s been great since I came down here last summer and I really love the club. From the fans to the back-room staff and the other players..."

Danny Pugh originally joined Leeds in 2004 when Kevin Blackwell was the manager at Elland Road. The player came to Leeds in a part exchange deal which saw Alan Smith move to the wrong side of The Pennines in a controversial move. A good start for The Whites saw Pugh hold down the Left Midfield position but with Blackwell re-building Pugh's position was lost and he soon found himself on the bench. The player only made five appearances for Leeds in his last six months before he was sold to Preston North End in 2006.
Second time around for Pugh at Elland Road and it was manager Simon Grayson who brought the player in on a three month loan with the option to a permanent move on 22 September, 2011 from Stoke City. After an injury to club captain Jonathan Howson Pugh moved into the Central Midfield position and the Club made his move permanent when he put pen to paper in a two and a half year contract which he penned on the 2nd January, 2012.

Leeds United: Lonergan, Connolly, Lees, Bruce, Pugh, Snodgrass, Brown, Clayton, Thompson, McCormack, Becchio.
Subs: Webber for Thompson, Forssell for Becchio.
