Behind The Bromby Throw

Behind The Bromby Throw

Description: Dewsbury born and United to the core Leigh Bromby United's defender here about to take one of his trademark throw-ins for Leeds. This superb shot was taken during the Football League First Division game against Southampton at Elland Road on the 19th December, 2009. Leigh played in the full ninety minutes in the game against the Saints.

Bromby originally from Dewsbury grew up supporting United and owned a season ticket for many years. Bromby made his debut for the Whites in the 2-0 win over Stockport County at Elland Road played on the 5th September, 2009.
"I'm delighted to be here, It's happened pretty quickly, but there was no decision to make really once I knew Leeds were interested. I was brought up a Leeds fan - we had Season Tickets for a lot of years - and my family are all big Leeds fans as well. They are delighted and this is something I want to be a part of."
