Description: Luciano Becchio here United's Argentine Striker challenges with his head in the last Football League First Division game against Bristol Rovers at Elland Road on the 8th May, 2010. Luciano started the game for the Whites but was replaced after 88 minutes by loanee Sanchez Watt.

The Argentinian Becchio was signed by Gary McAllister on the 31st July, 2008 for three years. He impressed the manager with his performances during the 2007-08 pre-season friendlies while on loan from Spanish outfit Merida Union Deportiva. He has since made the number 10 shirt his own.
