Description:
A great shot here of United's Argentine Striker Luciano Becchio watching his header fly into the back of the net in front of the Kop at Elland Road. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Watford at Elland Road on the 16th April, 2011. Luciano replaced Neil Kilkenny in the game on 56 minutes and scored United's first. Due to an injury Becchio was replaced after 88 minutes by Ross McCormack.
The Argentinian Becchio was signed by Gary McAllister on the 31st July, 2008 for three years. He impressed the manager with his performances during the 2007-08 pre-season friendlies while on loan from Spanish outfit Merida Union Deportiva. With some stellar performances for Leeds since his arrival he has made the number 10 shirt his own and become a fans favourite.
