Description:
United defend another attack here in their Football League One clash with Milton Keynes Dons at the MK:Stadium on December 20th, 2008. Many felt this was the manager's last chance as United had already suffered four straight defeats which included an embarrassing exit in the FA Cup at the hands of non league outfit Histon. It wasn't to be a good outcome for Gary McAllister or Leeds United as the team went down 3-1, the Leeds goal coming from Robert Snodgrass in front of 17,073 supporters. Over 4,000 of those fans cheering for the men from Elland Road. Gary McAllister was sacked after this defeat which saw United drop to ninth position in the table.
