Description:
United's Argentine Defender Federico Bessone here views his options before delivering his throw in for Leeds United. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Watford at Vicarage Road on the 28th August, 2010. Federico started the game for Leeds but was replaced after 46 minutes by Andy Hughes.
The Argentinian Federico Bessone became manager Simon Grayson's fourth signing of the Summer, coming from Swansea City on the 16th June, 2010. Grayson signed Bessone on a three year deal and he joins fellow countryman Luciano Becchio at Elland Road. The United manager had watched Bessone the previous season, delighted with the move Grayson said: "He had the opportunity of a contract at Swansea but he turned that down to come and join us..... "We're delighted we've got him..... He's technically a very good player, can pass the ball and defend well enough..." Leeds United: Schmeichel, Connolly, Naylor, Collins, Bessone, Sam, Howson, Kilkenny, Johnson, Becchio, Watt. Subs: Hughes for Bessone, Gradel for Sam, McCormack for Watt. Thanks to Eric of the West Midland Whites for this great pic. Submitted: 09/14/10 Views: 92 Tags: Rate this image:
