Description:
A wonderful shot of the East Stand at Elland Road here, packed to the rafters for the Play Off Semi Final. This view coming from the bottom area of the North East corner. Blackwell's men were playing Preston in the first leg of their Play Off Semi Final at Elland Road at the end of the 2005-06 season. It was Blackwell's second season in charge for the Whites and after early exits in both domestic cup competitions he led the Whites to the Championship Play Off's. The home leg ended in a 1-1 draw, Eddie Lewis netting a wonderful eqaliser with a free kick from the edge of the penalty area, in front of 35,239 supporters.
