Description: The North East Stand erupts here as Adam Clayton scores for United at the Family Stand End, King Power Stadium. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on the 6th November, 2011. Clayton played the full game for Leeds and scored the games only goal in the match against the Filberts.

Manager Simon Grayson initially signed Adam Clayton from Manchester City on a months loan on the 6th August, 2010. He made his debut for Leeds coming on as substitute in the home game against Derby County just 24 hours after he had signed. Just over a month later on the 21st September, 2010 Clayton joined Leeds on a permanent basis. He made three more substitute appearances for Leeds in that season before he was loaned out to Peterborough and then the MK Dons for match experience. He impressed at his loan clubs and by now Clayton wanted to stake a claim to play in the first team at Elland Road for the 2011-12 season. Clayton's chance came after the departure of Midfielders Neil Kilkenny and Bradley Johnson in the Summer transfer window. He started in the first eleven for Leeds in the opening game of the season against Southampton at St Marys and since as made himself a permanent fixture in United's Midfield.

Leeds United: McCarthy, Connolly, O'Brien, Kisnorbo, White, Snodgrass, Howson, Clayton, Pugh, McCormack, Keogh.
Subs: Bromby for O'Brien, Becchio for Keogh, Brown for McCormack.
