No doubt who these Leeds Ladies want at Elland Road to fill the vacant managers position after the dismissal of Peter Reid by the board. Eddie Gray had been in the managers chair before, a popular manager who was promoted from youth team coach to manager after Leeds were relegated in 1981-82. Gray's Leeds United was noted for its stylish play and the youthfull team Gray had assembled were a promising proposition which if allowed to mature could have took United places. Unfortunately the board felt they couldn't wait for his team to develop, Gray was sacked after the season 1984-85.
