Description:
Billy Hampson's first full season in charge for United and a comfortable mid table finish, an improvement on last season was what he delivered. United finished in 11th position for 1935-36 and scored some impressive victories along the way including a 7-2 thrashing of Sheffield Wednesday. Duggan scored a hat-trick for United, Edwards, Cochrane, Jk Kelly, and Jk Milburn (penalty) were the other contibutors for Leeds in front of 19,897 supporters.
