Description:
United for the first time in their history were relegated to the second division at the end of season 1926-27. Tom Jennings however managed to score 35 goals as Leeds United broke their scoring record of 69 goals. Arthur Fairclough resigned as manager at the end of the season and Dick Ray took over becoming United's second ever manager.
