Description:
Arther Fairclough's Leeds United only avoided the drop in season 1925-26 by goal difference. Leeds finished 19th in division one ahead of Burnley who had a poorer goal difference. Despite the lowly place United's Tom Jennings managed to break the goal scoring record by netting 26 times for Leeds.
