Andy Hughes the United Midfielder explains to the Gillingham keeper here that it might not be the best idea to wind up Leeds United fans. The Gills keeper had just previous been goading the travelling support from West Yorkshire. The shot coming after the Football League First Division game against Gillingham at the Priestfield Stadium on the 17th April, 2010. Andy Hughes was replaced by Ben Parker in the game after 56 minutes.
Andrew Hughes was signed by Dennis Wise on the 9th August, 2009 for an undisclosed fee. Hughes's natural position is on the right side of midfield although his versatility allows him to be comfortable across all the midfield, Hughes has also sufficiently filled both full back positions. Popular with the fans Hughes is not scared of a challenge and has the ability to rally the team on. "...Dennis Wise told me the challenge and the position the club was in.
