Lee Peltier a long time target of the Leeds United Boss Neil Warnock signed for The Whites on the 4th August, 2012. Coming from Leicester City the no nonsense Defender's cost to the Elland Road kitty was a reported 600k making him the most expensive player of manager Warnock's Summer spending spree. Lee made his debut for The Whites in the Football League Cup game against Shrewsbury Town on the 11th August, 2012. He was made captain of United a week later for the Championship opener at Elland Road in the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Lee told the official site after his move: "I had a few options, but I sat down with my family and friends, and went through them all, and Leeds was my first choice. You look at the fan base and the size of the club is massive, the gaffer can attract players with his record, and I wanted to come here."

Leeds United: Kenny, Byram, Peltier, Lees, Warnock, Brown, Green, Tonge, Norris, Varney, Morison.
Subs: Pearce for Green, White for Tonge, McCormack for Varney.
