Paul Perplexed

Paul Perplexed

Description: Paul Connolly United's Defender here looking a tad puzzled at what all the chat is about, it was obvious to everyone what the big melee was about. This shot of Paul coming from the Football League Championship game against Queens Park Rangers at Elland Road on the 18th December, 2010. Connolly played the full ninety minutes for Leeds in the game against the Sheperd's Bush outfit.

The United manager Simon Grayson signed Paul Connolly from Derby County on a free transfer for a three year contract on the 10th June, 2010. Connolly took over the number two shirt for the Whites displacing Jason Crowe who took the shirt number 20 spot. A delighted Grayson said "Paul brings plenty of experience and know-how to the squad."

Leeds United: Schmeichel, Connolly, Bruce, Collins, McCartney, Kilkenny, Johnson, Snodgrass, Howson, Gradel, Becchio.
Subs: Bromby for Bruce, Sam for Gradel, Paynter for Becchio.
