Mr. Cool Flag

Description: A banner here featuring a caricature of United's Senegalese Forward El Hadji Diouf. This banner on display at the Etihad Stadium. The shot coming from the Football Association Cup 5th Round at the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City on the 17th February, 2013. Diouf played the full game for Leeds against the Citizens.

The United manager Neil Warnock signed El Hadji Diouf the Senegalese international for the Whites on the 9th August, 2012 on a non-contract basis from Doncaster Rovers. Diouf is a controversial figure in the game and came to Elland Road carrying more than his fare share of baggage, the United manager himself referred to Diouf as being 'lower than a sewer rat' after an incident at Ewood Park which saw Jamie Mackie stretchered off with multiple fractures to his leg. The fans at Elland Road were initially split on the decision to sign the Senegal forward but despite that contention he will always get the faithful's support while he is giving 100% in a White shirt. Diouf made his debut appearance for Leeds coming on as substitute in the Football League Cup game against Shrewsbury Town on the 11th August, 2012.

Leeds United: Ashdown, Byram, Peltier, Lees, Warnock, White, Brown, Austin, Varney, Diouf, McCormack.
Subs: Norris for Brown, Morison for McCormack, Tonge for Austin.

Thanks To: WTFK for the great pic.
