Kisnorbo's Back

Kisnorbos Back

Description: Patrick Kisnorbo United's Australian International leaves the ball for a goal kick here in the First Division game against Leyton Orient at Elland Road on the 24th November, 2009.

Defender Kisnorbo was signed by Simon Grayson on the 22nd July, 2009 in a two year deal coming from Leicester City. Kisnorbo turned down a host of Championship clubs who were also after his signature to join the Whites. 'Paddy' made his debut for United in the 2009-10 season opener against Exeter City at Elland Road where he picked up a head wound that required 12 stitches. United won the game 2-1 and Kisnorbo stayed on the park througout. On 12th August, 2009 Kisnorbo brought Leeds United Football Club another landmark, his 15th appearance for Australia in the game against the Republic of Ireland made Patrick Leeds United's 100th full international player. Kisnorbo also picked up a couple of stitches above his right brow in the game with Ireland for his efforts. His bravery and strong performances soon made Kisnorbo a favourite with the Elland Road faithful.

Match report to follow.

Subs: White for Hughes, Gradel for Vokes, Grella for Howson.
