Description: Max Gradel United's Ivorian Midfielder and Argentine Striker Luciano Becchio head off the pitch here after the full time whistle is blown, both Max and Luciano scored for Leeds in this Red Roses encounter. The shot coming after the Football League Championship game against Burnley at Turf Moor on the 11th December, 2010. Max played the full ninety minutes for Leeds and scored against the Lancashire outfit while Luciano started for Leeds and scored but was replaced on 90 minutes by Amdy Faye.

Ivorian Max Gradel was brought in from Leicester City by manager Simon Grayson for a month loan deal on the 19th October, 2009. Max made an impressive start for the Whites winning the Man of the Match award for Leeds after coming on as substitute in a 2-1 win over Norwich City at Elland Road on the very same day as his move. On the 13th November, 2009 after several more impressive performances for Leeds Grayson extended Gradels loan period to reach up to the 2nd January, 2010. Further into the season of 2009-10 and Grayson was again prompted to extend Gradels loan period after some crucial match winning performances for the Whites but after a 4-2 win against Stockport County manager Grayson confirmed he had begun talks with all the parent clubs of United's loan players and shortly after on the 25th January, 2010 Gradel was signed by Leeds in a two-and-a-half-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

The Argentinian Becchio was signed by Gary McAllister on the 31st July, 2008 for three years. He impressed the manager with his performances during the 2007-08 pre-season friendlies while on loan from Spanish outfit Merida Union Deportiva. With some stellar performances for Leeds since his arrival he has made the number 10 shirt his own and become a fans favourite.
