Description:
Charlie Taylor United's York born Defender here trying his best to stir a player from the opposition as he lies face down on the Elland Road surface. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Crystal Palace at Elland Road on the 10th September, 2011. Taylor played the full ninety minutes for Leeds in the game against the Croydon outfit.
York born Charlie Taylor turned down a host of Premier League Clubs before he signed a professional three year contract for Leeds United in May, 2011. Charlie an ever-present in the under 18's for the season 2010-11 also made nine appearances in the reserves and established himself as a regular during the second half of the campaign. He made his debut for Leeds coming on as substitute in the Football League Cup 1st Round against Bradford City at Elland Road on the 9th August, 2011. Manager Simon Grayson commented: "Charlie is another player that we think has a bright future if he keeps his head down and works hard... He has a good left foot, good energy and good potential...
