Description: Luciano Becchio here United's Argentine Striker swamped by his teammates after he scored Leeds' first goal. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Portsmouth at Fratton Park on the 22nd January, 2011. Luciano played the full ninety minutes in the game against the South Coast outfit and scored United's first goal.

The Argentinian Becchio was signed by Gary McAllister on the 31st July, 2008 for three years. He impressed the manager with his performances during the 2007-08 pre-season friendlies while on loan from Spanish outfit Merida Union Deportiva. With some stellar performances for Leeds since his arrival he has made the number 10 shirt his own and become a fans favourite.
