Description:
United's Argentine Striker Luciano Becchio here receives the congratulations from his teammates after he scores United's second in front of the South Stand at Elland Road. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Nottingham Forest at Elland Road on the 2nd April, 2011. Luciano scored the second for Leeds but was replaced on 90 minutes by Davide Somma.
The Argentinian Becchio was signed by Gary McAllister on the 31st July, 2008 for three years. He impressed the manager with his performances during the 2007-08 pre-season friendlies while on loan from Spanish outfit Merida Union Deportiva. With some stellar performances for Leeds since his arrival he has made the number 10 shirt his own and become a fans favourite.
