Description: Luciano Becchio United's Argentine Striker celebrates scoring United's first goal here at Fratton Park in front of the Milton End where the United fans were housed. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Portsmouth at Fratton Park on the 22nd January, 2011. Becchio played the full ninety minutes for Leeds and scored a goal against the South Coast outfit.

The Argentinian Becchio was signed by Gary McAllister on the 31st July, 2008 for three years. He impressed the manager with his performances during the 2007-08 pre-season friendlies while on loan from Spanish outfit Merida Union Deportiva. With some stellar performances for Leeds since his arrival he has made the number 10 shirt his own and become a fans favourite.
