A Snoddy Placement

Submitted: 02/17/11
Description: Robert Snodgrass here United's Scottish International Striker ponders over the placement of the ball as he prepares to take a free-kick for Leeds. This shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park on the 30th October, 2010. Snodgrass started the game for Leeds but was replaced on 83 minutes by Ramon Nunez.

Gary McAllister beat a host of other clubs when he signed the highly rated Robert Snodgrass in late July, 2008 from Scottish outfit Livingston on a three year contract. After some excellent match winning performances 'Snoddy' soon established himself as one of Grayson's automatic choices for his first eleven and with two years left on his current contract he was offered a new four year deal with United at the beginning of the 2009-10 season. The Members Club Player of the Year for 2008-09 was delighted with the offer. "It`s been great since I came down here last summer and I really love the club. From the fans to the back-room staff and the other players..."

Leeds United: Schmeichel, Connolly, O'Brien, Bruce, McCartney, Howson, Faye, Kilkenny, Gradel, Becchio, Snodgrass.
Subs: Johnson for Faye, Paynter for Becchio, Nunez for Snodgrass.

Thanks to Eric of the West Midland Whites for this great pic.
