Icons #003 Andy Hughes
A graphic here of Andrew Hughes the United midfielder celebrating with the faithful in front of the Kop at Elland Road. United had just secured promotion to the Championship. Andy Hughes played the full ninety minutes in the game against the Pirates. The graphic taken from the Football League First Division game against Bristol Rovers at Elland Road on the 8th may, 2010.

Andrew Hughes was signed by Dennis Wise on the 9th August, 2009 for an undisclosed fee. Hughes's natural position is on the right side of midfield although his versatility allows him to be comfortable across all the midfield, Hughes has also sufficiently filled both full back positions. Popular with the fans Hughes is not scared of a challenge and has the ability to rally the team on. "...Dennis Wise told me the challenge and the position the club was in. He wants fighters and I felt the challenge of playing for Leeds United..."

Leeds United: Higgs, Lowry, Bromby, Collins, Doyle, Kilkenny, Johnson, Hughes, Gradel, Beckford, Becchio.
Subs: Howson for Lowry, Watt for Becchio, Snodgrass for Beckford.
