Marching On In Watford
The Leeds United travelling White Army pack their allocation in the Vicarage Road Stand at Vicarage Lane here. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Watford at Vicarage Road on the 4th May, 2013. The last game of the 2012-13 season. The United fans sold their allocation for this one taking over 2,000 fans for the game against the Yellow Army.

Leeds United: Kenny, Peltier, Lees, Pearce, Drury, Tonge, Brown, Green, McCormack, Morison, Varney.
Subs: Poleon/Morison, White/Brown, Hall/Green.

A great shot here from the back of the North Stand at the Oakwell Stadium looking down at the West Stand. The shot coming from United's Football League Championship game against Barnsley on the 14th September, 2010. The United following were allocated half of the West Stand which is usually reserved for the home support and all of the North Stand. The Leeds support numbered around 7,000 fans for the away trip against the South Yorkshire outfit which could prove to be the biggest away following for any club in a league match in 2010-11.

Leeds United: Higgs, Connolly, Naylor, Collins, Bessone, Sam, Howson, Kilkenny, Johnson, Gradel, Becchio.
Subs: Hughes for Bessone, McCormack for Johnson, Somma for Sam.

Jonny 'll Beat Yer
Jonathan Howson here United's Leeds born Midfielder in a sprint for the ball against a number from the South Yorkshire opposition. The shot coming from the Championship game against Sheffield United at Elland Road on the 25th September, 2010. Jonny played the full ninety minutes for Leeds in the game against the Blades.

Loiner and United fan Jonathan Howson came through the Academy at Leeds United and made his senior debut for the club on the 19th September, 2006 in the second round of the Football League Cup which United won 3-1. Later in the same season of 2006-07 Howson was given his league debut by manager Wise which came on the 23rd December, 2006 in the 0-0 draw with Hull City at Elland Road. By the season 2007-08 Howson had established himself as the natural choice for his position winning the Young Player of the Year award and earning a new three year contract with the Whites in the bargain. Manager Simon Grayson handed the role of captain to Howson at the start of season 2009-10 due to the absence of injured fellow Loiner Richard Naylor.

Leeds United: Higgs, Hughes, Bruce, Collins, McCartney, Gradel, Howson, Johnson, Sam, Becchio, Somma.

Luciano Looks
Luciano Becchio here United's Argentine Striker on the Elland Road pitch for the Whites in the Championship game against Sheffield United on the 25th September, 2010. Becchio played the full ninety minutes for Leeds in the game against the South Yorkshire outfit.

The Argentinian Becchio was signed by Gary McAllister on the 31st July, 2008 for three years. He impressed the manager with his performances during the 2007-08 pre-season friendlies while on loan from Spanish outfit Merida Union Deportiva. He has since made the number 10 shirt his own.

The North Stand here at the Keepmoat Stadium packed with United fans for the Football League Championship game against Doncaster Rovers on the 17th September, 2010. The United following sold out their allocation for the game taking around 3,500 fans for the encounter against the Vikings.

Leeds United: Higgs, Hughes, Bruce, Collins, White, Gradel, Kilkenny, Howson, Johnson, Somma, McCormack.
Subs: Snodgrass for McCormack, Watt for Gradel.

A Sam Surge
Lloyd Same here the Leeds born Midfielder surges upfield with the ball at his feet in the Championship game against Sheffield United at Elland Road on the 25th September, 2010. Lloyd started the game for Leeds but was replaced after 60 minutes by Robert Snodgrass.

Leeds born Lloyd Sam was signed by manager Simon Grayson on the 9th July, 2010. Sam who was out of contract with his former club Charlton Athletic had no hesitation when United's manager made the offer. Lloyd signed for the Whites in a two year deal which will keep him at his home town club till 2012.
"I was looking at a few Championship options, and started talking with Leeds... "I spoke to Frazer Richardson as well and he said that he never wanted to leave Leeds, and said a lot of good things about the club... "I'm buzzing and I'm looking forward to getting started and getting to know the lads."

Andy Hughes here United's Midfielder floats a cross in for the Whites in the Championship game against Sheffield United at Elland Road on the 25th September, 2010. Andy played the full ninety minutes for Leeds in the game against the South Yorkshire outfit.

Andrew Hughes was signed by Dennis Wise on the 9th August, 2009 for an undisclosed fee. Hughes's natural position is on the right side of midfield although his versatility allows him to be comfortable across all the midfield, Hughes has also sufficiently filled both full back positions. Popular with the fans Hughes is not scared of a challenge and has the ability to rally the team on. "...Dennis Wise told me the challenge and the position the club was in. He wants fighters and I felt the challenge of playing for Leeds United..."
