The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Birmingham City at St Andrew's on the 26th April, 2014. United sold out their allocation for this one taking 3,000 for the match against the Blues.

One Corner In The San Siro
One corner section of the travelling Leeds United faithful here at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy. United were playing AC Milan in the Champions League first stage on November 08, 2000. Leeds had already beat Milan in the home fixture earlier in the competition with a single Lee Bowyer goal claiming the result. Bowyer again scored in this game but the lead was cancelled out mid way through the second half. The game ended 1-1 and played in front of 52,289. United went on through to the second stage of the Champions League that season facing Real Madrid, Lazio and Anderlecht in their group. After taking four points from Lazio and doing a back to back double over Anderlecht Leeds faced Deportivo La Coruna in the Quarter Final stage. United beat Deportivo 3-2 on aggregate which saw them through to the Semi but United were ultimately beat by Valencia 3-0 on aggregate.

After a bad start to season 2006-7 losing five of the opening eight fixtures Kevin Blackwell was sacked as Leeds United manager. Dennis Wise was brought in after a brief period in charge for John Carver as caretaker. Wise failed to turn the season round and United were relegated to the third tier for the first time in their history.
