Allan To The Press
Allan Clarke United's Forward legend speaks to the media here at the unveiling of the Don Revie statue. Created by Barnsley born sculptor Graham Ibbeson the statue is a result of the Don Revie Tribute and is situated opposite the new development at the East Stand side of the Elland Road Stadium.

The Don Revie Tribute was set up by Birmingham City fan Jim Cadman. Jim Cadman is passionate about the game of football and has experience in setting up Tributes for past Legends of the game including Tom Finney the Preston North End Forward. It was the eventual sculptor of the Don Revie statue Graham Ibbeson who originally contacted Jim looking for help with the funding of the statue after the sculptor had been approached. The statue would cost around 90k. Jim decided the best way to get the funds and the best way to honour Don would be to set up a Tribute Fund and ask the supporters of Leeds United to contribute. A number of functions, dinners and auctions including a theatrical tribute and magazine were set up by Jim Cadman which were focused around the players from the Don Revie era who gladly gave up their time to help the cause. It was called the Don Revie Tribute and the supporters of Leeds United raised the cash. The Don Revie Statue was unveiled on the 5th May, 2012.

Good Game Luke
The Leeds United manager Neil Warnock here has a word with the United Midfielder Luke Varney after the final whistle on the London Road pitch. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Peterborough United at London Road Stadium on the 25th August, 2012. Luke played the full game for Leeds against the Posh.

After the sacking of Simon Grayson the Leeds United Chairman Ken Bates moved in for Neil Warnock. Warnock joined The Whites on the 18th February, 2012 in a contract that will run to the end of the 2012-2013 season. A promotion specialist Warnock has achieved promotion seven times over his career taking three teams to the top tier. Leeds United is the 13th Club Warnock has managed having been in the business of 'Boss' over 30 years. After his arrival Warnock announced...
"I feel I have one big challenge left in me and believe Leeds is a club that should be in the Premier League," Warnock told United's official site. "I want to be the man who is able to deliver this for a set of fans who never cease to amaze me with their numbers and their loyalty."

The United manager finally brought Luke Varney to Elland Road on the 23rd July, 2012 after weeks of speculation. The English Midfielder costing 300k was one of four new Summer signings from troubled League One outfit Portsmouth FC. Always a favourite of the United Boss Warnock the manager said: "I have been after Luke for about seven years now on and off. I have spoken to him a number of times at different clubs but have never quite managed to sign him. He is an unpredictable type of player and the fans like him and I think there are goals in him. I will be setting him a target; I would like to think he can score between 8 and 10 goals next season." Luke made his debut for the Whites and scored his first goal for the club in the Football League Cup game Shrewsbury Town on the 11th August, 2012.
