Old Peacock
The Old Peacock Pub in this shot situated on Elland Road opposite the South Stand. Elland Road was originally named after this pub because it faced the land on where the ground is built. Rugby was the dominant sport in Leeds at the time and Holbeck Rugby Club used to play at the ground. The 'Old Peacock' ground changed its name to Elland Road shortly after Association Football arrived in the shape of Leeds Woodville who shared the ground with Holbeck.

Currently the Leeds United Supporters Club run the Old Peacock.

138 admirable Leeds fans make the trip to the Besiktas Inonu Stadium, Istanbul, Turkey, with over two policemen for every one of them. A high police presence and limited ticket allocation for this game in Istanbul because of the two Leeds United fans that were murdered in the same city the season before. The Champions League 1st stage match ended in a 0-0 draw which was good enough for United to progress to the next stage. 34,485 supporters attended the game.

Leeds United: Robinson, Kelly, Woodgate, Mills, Harte, Bakke, Bowyer, Burns, Matteo; Bridges (Huckerby, then McPhail), Viduka. Unused Subs: Jones, Hay, Evans, Hackworth, Robinson.

From Leeds United Americas
A plaque here for the Leeds United Americas that will be situated on the plinth of the Don Revie statue. Leeds United Americas were one of the major donators to the Don Revie Tribute Fund, their name and tribute 'You are always in our hearts' can be seen on the plaque. Created by Barnsley born sculptor Graham Ibbeson the statue is a result of the Don Revie Tribute and is situated opposite the new development at the East Stand side of the Elland Road Stadium.

The Don Revie Tribute was set up by Birmingham City fan Jim Cadman. Jim Cadman is passionate about the game of football and has experience in setting up Tributes for past Legends of the game including Tom Finney the Preston North End Forward. It was the eventual sculptor of the Don Revie statue Graham Ibbeson who originally contacted Jim looking for help with the funding of the statue after the sculptor had been approached. The statue would cost around 90k. Jim decided the best way to get the funds and the best way to honour Don would be to set up a Tribute Fund and ask the supporters of Leeds United to contribute. A number of functions, dinners and auctions including a theatrical tribute and magazine were set up by Jim Cadman which were focused around the players from the Don Revie era who gladly gave up their time to help the cause. It was called the Don Revie Tribute and the supporters of Leeds United raised the cash. The Don Revie Statue was unveiled on the 5th May, 2012.

mahnoor Our focus is to build relationships with the best cannabis brands in the USA, these individuals pride themselves in the quality of the cannabis products they produce. We believe our role as an online dispensary in USA is to create a voice for cannabis brands to ensure they’re heard but at the same time hold them accountable for the product they produce. cali 420 weed

The Bench Swap
The Leeds United manager in front of the new Leeds United dugout, formerly known as the away dugout, at the bottom of the West Stand here. The United manager decided to use the dugout that used to be for the away team for the start of the 2013-14 season, the new dugout is nearer the Gelderd End and gives a better view of the action at that side of the ground. The shot coming from the Football League Championship game against Brighton and Hove Albion at Elland Road on the 3rd August, 2013.

After Neil Warnock resigned from his position as Leeds United manager on April 1st, 2013, the Leeds board didn't waste much time in finding his replacement. It was less than a fortnight later on the 12th April that Brian McDermott was appointed as the new manager. Signing for the club on a three year contract Brian brought with him Nigel Gibbs, the two have experience working together at Reading, with Nigel becoming the clubs new Assistant Manager. McDermott's previous managerial stint saw him achieve promotion with Reading to the Premier League in 2011-12, the Berkshire club won the Play Off final after winning 15 of the last 19 games in the Championship. McDermott told Radio Leeds after he joined the club, "This is probably the only club I would come to at this stage of the season. I just want to get going now." The manager had previously stated that he would wait till the Summer to resume his managerial career. Brians first game in charge for Leeds was a tough test in the Yorkshire derby against Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road, the game coming on the 13th April just a day after he signed for Leeds. United won the game 2-1.

Leeds United: Kenny, Peltier, Pearce, Lees, Warnock, Green, Murphy, Tonge, McCormack, Varney, Hunt.
Subs: Poleon for Hunt, Drury for Warnock, Smith for Varney.
