East Stand Construction
Early matchday at Elland Road here with the East Stand slowly looming up above the old Lowfields terracing. The bottom tier terracing was kept open for fans on matchday while the work on the new stand progressed.

The East Stand. A mammoth all seated stand with two tiers was completed in 1993 at a cost of £5.5m. It has 25 extra Executive Boxes, a 10,000 all seated bottom tier to house the Family Stand members with a total capacity of over 17,000 all seated. The East Stand also has one of the biggest cantilever stand in the world.
