A rally call
Half time in the Play-off semi-final and Leeds are 2-1 down to Carlisle. The performance was disappointing and frustrating as we know Leeds can perform better and as we approach the 'second-half' on Thursday, lifelong Leeds fan, Greg (Greg 4 LUFC on our message board) posts a rally call to Leeds fans everywhere. Let's hope the players and management read it!

How many crucial matches has this club of ours had over the last 6 or 7 years? Remember the semi finals of the Uefa Cup - then the Champions League? It wasn't that long a go I was writing about the make or break games that led to our relegation from the Premiership - or the Play off Final with Watford - then the games that led to our fall into this division last year.

The Reasons Leeds Lost Arbitration
The reasons Leeds United lost their Arbitration appeal are beginning to emerge following confirmation of the decision that Leeds have lost their appeal against the 15 point deduction. The full report has not yet been seen by ourselves but the basis of the Panel decision seems to highlight three particular area's.

Leeds Lose Arbitration
It has been confirmed that Leeds United have LOST in their appeal to overturn the Football Leagues decision to implement a 15 point penalty for the way the club exited Administration at the start of the season. Leeds United have been asking for that decision to be review all year and finally, after the threat of High Court action, the League backed down and agreed to an Arbitration Hearing.

Arbitration Results - wait almost over
The wait is nearly over and here at Unofficial LUFC we are poised to bring you the latest news as soon as we receive it. The announcement is due to be published on the FA Website around 5pm and will announce the result and the impact on Leeds Utd as soon as we can

Arbitration Decision Imminent
Leeds Utd have entered the final straight in what is hoped is the end of the long fight against the 15 point deduction by the Football League at the start of the season. Arbitration was completed a week ago today and the panel announced a decision would be made by 1st May. Crucially, it was not confirmed the decision would come on that date and could be sooner.

Triple Impact for Arbitration
With the results of the Arbitration hearing only days away, this weekends fixtures saw major changes at the top of League 1 that means three teams are now vying for that vital second spot that carries automatic promotion back to the Championship. Until recently, it seemed a two horse race with Swansea and Carlise some distance clear.

Arbitration could mean promotion
A 2-0 victory over Millwall on Saturday saw Leeds move on to 70 points with two games to go in the season, 9 behind second place Carlise and 16 behind Swansea as the season draws to a close. With a small issue of 15 points being deducted and under appeal with an Arbitration Panel, Leeds have in affect, achieved the second automatic promotion spot in League 1 without the 15 point penalty.

Millwall V Leeds - Match preview
Saturday’s game at the New Den sees Leeds United face their 2nd of 3 consecutive away games during what is becoming a pivotal stage in the club’s season. Leeds suffered a derby defeat on Tuesday night against Huddersfield Town at the Galpharm stadium, which was their 1st defeat in 7 games.

Arbitration could be delayed
Breaking news this evening is that Arbitration is expected to enter a fourth day and the result may not be announced for up to five weeks. The hearing began on Wednesday and the result was initially expected before the weekends fixture on Saturday. Warnings were given that the result could be made next week but this latest news would cause uproar.

Arbitration: Is no news good news?
It's official Day 2 of the Appeal to overturn the 15 point deduction by the Football League, and with no news circulation so far, we assume the Arbitration hearing is still ongoing. It is understood one of the key issues to be discussed was that Leeds signed an agreement prior to the start of the League that they could not appeal against the decision.

The Independant Arbitration hearing begns today with Leeds United trying to overturn the 15 point deduction imposed at the start of the season. A three man panel will hear arguements from both sides and an undsclosed location (beleived to be in London) before deliberating on a vedict.

Gary McAllsiter has announced his team for tonights encounter with Huddersfield Town. Kick off is at 7:45pm as Leeds look to make it 4 wins in a row and further cement their place in the play-off's. A bumper crowd is expected tonight at the Galpharm (formerly McAlpine) Stadium as local rivals, Leeds United and Huddersfield Town battle it out in this League 1 clash. Police are advising those travelling to allow extra time for their journey due to the size of the numbers expected. The match is scheduled to kick of at 7.45pm.

Arbitration for Leeds - Overview
Leeds Utd and the Football League begin Arbitration proceedings on Wednesday in a dispute over the 15 point sanction imposed on the club at the start of the season. The penalty was imposed after Leeds went into Administration but were unable to secure a '75% approved' CVA which is built into League rules to allow the club to rejoin the League and continue to play.
