"This section of WAFLL looks at the history of Leeds United, starting from the very beginning in 1919 up to the end of the last season. A brief but concise account of all the important points in Leeds United's history. Starting in 1904 with the City of Leeds first football league team Leeds City. Their brief ups and downs, the teams flirt with promotion right up to the clubs controversial end in 1919. Then almost immediately after Leeds City comes the creation of our very own Super Leeds United. Covering all the major steps of our great club. Leeds United's first ever trophy, our yo-yo like affair with the second tier. The great Don Revie era of the sixties and early seventies, the wonderful revival when Howard Wilkinson took the charge and the all too close reality of Leeds United becoming no more as the PLC debacle took its toll.
